Range forest officer Kakching has been told to take up necessary steps to immediately stop the alleged activities of illegal excavation and transportation of earth at Kakching Garden, Uyok Ching, Kakching district and take appropriate legal action against the perpetrators.
On finding the said illegal activities being carried out, a report was submitted by one Shougaijam Ronan, a resident of Kakching Wairi, Kamala Pareng Khallakpam leikai to range forest officer Kakching.
The report alleged that some miscreants have been illegally carrying out excavation on the foothills of Kakching Garden, Uyok Ching and the excavated earth were being transported to some other places.
