Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Friday arrived in Tripura to campaign for BJP candidates for the upcoming state Assembly elections.

Upon arrival at the Agartala airport, CM Biren was received by Minister Th Biswajit Singh along with other officials. The chief minister will attend the All Tripura Manipuri Convention 2023 organised by the Tripura Manipuri Development Demand Committee at Agartala.

"Received HCM @NBirenSingh Ji at Agartala airport to attend the #All_Tripura_Manipuri_Convention_2023 organized by the Tripura Manipuri Development Demand Committee at Agartala," minister Biswajit tweeted.

Earlier in the day, CM Biren tweeted, "All set for the election campaign for BJP Candidates for the upcoming Legislative Assembly election, Tripura. With a resolve to bring the development of Tripura with the BJP government, team Manipur will extend a hand and together work towards the victory".

Polling for the 60 seats of Tripura will take place on February 16 and the results will be declared on March 2. The term of Tripura Assembly will end on March 22.
