Nagaland's COVID-19 tally surges to 11,787 with 26 new positive cases

Dimapur, the state's commercial hub, recorded the highest number of COVID-19 cases with 6176, followed by Kohima with 3,344 cases.
Nagaland now has 1,095 active cases and the recovery tally stands at 5,161.
Of the 11 new cases, seven are from Kohima, three form Mon and one from Mokokchung.
Of the 23 new cases, 18 cases are from Dimapur, four in Phek and one in Kohima, Nagaland Health Minister S Pangyu Phom posted on Twitter.
The three new cases were reported from Phek district.
Of the total 636 positive case, active cases and recovery cases are 393 and 243 respectively according to the latest update by the state health minister.
Of the total 622 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nagaland, 391 are active cases while 231 patients have recovered from COVID-19 infection.
Four new COVID-19 positive cases were reported in the state on Friday.
Among the 535 confirmed cases, 353 are active cases while 182 patients have recovered from the infection.
Nagaland reported five new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday taking the total number of cases in the state to nine.
