NESO strongly opined that there should be normal and free flow of goods, materials and essential commodities between the two states.
The border dispute between Mizoram and Assam flared up on October 9 after a farm hut and plantations were damaged on the disputed land near Thinghlun village in west Mizoram’s Mamit district.
Forty vehicles, including 28 heavy trucks carrying essential commodities, have entered Mizoram from Assam till Tuesday evening.
