The teacher Wairokpam Loyangamba Meetei and student Khelen Singh, who is a library and documentation secretary of AMSU, were arrested on October 19, 2021 over suspicion of being members of an outlaw banned organisation.
The AMSU cautioned that it will take up necessary actions against any school authorities if they are found terminating teachers and staff without giving a valid reason.
It is also not wise to conduct the examination when the students hardly get two months to attend classes out of the total six months semester, it stated.
The seizure comes a week after AMSU Imphal East district committee seized tobacco products worth Rs. 1.5 lakh at Mantripukhri areas.
