UBSA Mantak upset SWC Wangjing by 3-2 goals in the 20th Ksh Leihao Devi Memorial Super Division Football League 2022-23 organised by DSA Kakching and played at Lamjao Playground.
UBSA Mantak got the early breakthrough from Mangte Soneigeir in the 8th minute of play to control the game.
However, SWC changed their strategy just in nick of time for the equaliser from a goalmouth melee in 40th plus 2nd minute with Ch Jack banging home the goal to level 1-1 goals in halftime.
SWC seemed to regain their touch in the game when Kh Sanajaoba, while anticipating a cross, took a firm shot to the goal in the 49th minute for the lead.
But, UBSA Mantak regenerated their pace with a vengeance as Md Ruhit Shah ransacked the defence, slamming home two goals in 61st minute and 77th minute for the sweet win.
In another match, Sena Athletics Organisation, Kakching got the better of AKSA Kakching Khunou by 4-3 goals.
The game witnessed a free for all approach as neither team was backtracking but focusing on attacking from the twenty minute itself.
AKSA player Amujao picked the opening goal in the 20th minute but M Minaketan fetched the equaliser for SAO team in the 34th minute. Later for SAO team L Dingju scored two goals while M Minaketan added another goal. Babloo scored two goals for AKSA team.
