XI Star Sporting Union, Akhampat beat ABA Kshetrigao by 4-1 goals in the Maharajkumar Ghanendrajit Memorial Super Division Football League 2022 organised by Ad-hoc Committee, IEDFA at Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong.
ABA Kshetrigao drew blood in the first half with George Kom Singte, netting home the opening goal in the 22nd minute for the lead. However, XI Star Sporting Union, shook its opponent defence to tatters in the second half with N Santanu fetching the equaliser in the 52nd minute and later Julian Keishing in the 55th minute, Sovamani in the 69th minute and Golmei Apu Kabui in the 75th minute proved their worth for the victory.
XI Star player N Radhakanta and ABA players L Ajay Singh and Ng Prem got yellow cards in the match.
In the other matches, SAK Yumnam Khunou got the better of SSC Porompat by 2-1 goals. W Pilot and P Can scored a goal each for Yumnam Khunou team while the lone goal for SSC team was fetched by Khayinmi Zimik.
UPAA Kiyamgei and ESU Wangkhei had a goalless draw to share a point each. Three ESU players Radhakanta, Abhinash, Md.Sohail and UPAA player N Sobhachandra got yellow cards for dangerous fouls
