CT Higher Secondary School, Mayang Imphal beat Bengoon High School, Mayang Imphal by 4-3 goals via a penalty shootout to emerge the winner of Subroto Mukherjee Inter School Football of Imphal West District played at Langjing Achouba Turf, Imphal West.
As for the U-14 Boys, Nirmalarani School, Wangoi got the better of Royal Academy of Advance Learning, Top Siphai by 2-1 goals for the Champion title.
With the win, CT Higher Secondary School and Nirmalarani School, Wangoi will represent Imphal West team in the State Level Subroto Mukherjee Football Tournament, which is likely to be held in first week of July. The winner of the U-17 Boys, U-14 Boys and U-17 Girls from state level tourament will represent Manipur in the National tournament at Delhi.

The U-17 Boys final match saw Rahul break the deadlock for CT Higher Secondary in the 48-minute of the play but Bengoon High School replied in the 57-minute when Banayami fetched the equaliser to level 1-1 goals during normal time play, thereby leading to a penalty shootout.
During the penalty, CT Higher Secondary put home four through Gobin, Thoi, Rahul and Punit but for Bengoon High School, only Banayaima and Jahil managed to beat the keeper.
As for U-14 Boys final, Yaikhomba’s brace in the 12th and 21st minute of the match provided the victory for Nirmalarani School. The lone goal for Royal Academy of Advance Learning was scored by Salatur Rahaman in the 42nd minute.
Meanwhile, in the Kakching Subroto Mukherjee Football, LHSS Langmeidong thrashed KWHS Kakching by 3-0 goals to emerged winner in the U-17 Boys category of the 62nd Subroto Mukherjee Inter School Football of Kakching District played at Keirak Awang Leikai Kangjeibung Playground.
As for the U-17 Girls, Langmeidong High School got automatic qualification for the state level tournament as they were the lone team from the district to register for the district qualification.
