Sikkim pulls off 190 runs win over Manipur in Senior Men's Ranji Trophy

In the day four of the innings, Manipur slumped to 176 runs at the expense of 10 wickets from 73.3 overs while chasing a target of 366 runs set by Sikkim for a win.

Sikkim beat Manipur by 190 runs in the Senior Men's Ranji Trophy 2021-22(Day-4) played at JU 2nd Campus, Salt Lake, Kolkata.

In the day four of the innings, Manipur slumped to 176 runs at the expense of 10 wickets from 73.3 overs while chasing a target of 366 runs set by Sikkim for a win.

Sikkim in their first inning had made 462 runs and another 228 runs in the second innings, giving a total of 690 runs. However Manipur could make 324 runs in their first innings and 176 runs in the second innings for a total of 500 runs.

Manipur second innings saw Langlonyamba and Kishan making 30 runs each while Priyojit K got 25 runs among the top run getters in the second innings. Priyojit K topscored in the first innings with 79 runs while Nilesh and Rk.Rex got 62 runs each.

For Sikkim, the top run getters are Liyan Khan who cracked 179 runs and Ankur with 126 runs in first innings and Karthic CA with 104 runs and Nilesh Lamichaney with 50 runs in second innings.

Manipur bowlers Bishworjit, Rex collected 4 wickets each while Kishan got 3 wickets in the innings. Sikkim bowler Sumit bagged 6 wickets, Tarun Sharma got 5 wickets, Ankur fetched 4 wickets.
