FC Imphal, Mayaikoibi moves into the finals, beating TBSFA FC Tabungkhok by a solitary goal in the 4th Sangai Trophy Veterans' Football Championship 2022 organised by UVFA Manipur and played at Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong on Wednesday.

The first semi final match proved to be a hotly contested game with TBSFA  FC matching wits with its opponent FC Imphal but the latter stole the show with M Kiran Singh fetching the winning goal in the 28th minute of play.

Though each team did try to outrun each other and consolidate their position, FC Imphal held their fort well till the final whistle to sail into the final. FC Imphal goalscorer M Kiran Singh was later declared the Man of the Match for his match winning goal.

In the second semi final on Thursday, UVSA Lilong Chajing will face SVA Khongjom Keirak at 3 pm.
