PCC enters semi final after 6 wickets win against YUCC

PCC Mayaikoibi bats their way to the semi final beating YUCC Kwakeithel Moirangpuel by 6 wicket victory in 3rd MNCA U-16 Boy's Naorem Rajningthou Memorial Trophy 2021-22 played at Heinoupok Ground, Imphal West.

YUCC team decided to bat first after winning the toss, where they managed 137 runs for 10 wickets from 27.1 overs with Thoiba Ningthoujam spearheading with 61 runs from 51 balls. M Medhajit batted 17 runs while N Kenedy got 16 runs.

PCC bowler T Vikash bagged 3 wickets from 28 runs from 5 overs while M Lucky, Ch Paikhomba and Ajay Mahto Kumar claimed 2 wickets each and L Anjan got 1 wicket.

Chasing the target, PCC rode on T Vikash who strucks a majestic and unbeaten 83 runs from 63 balls to surpassed the total in 22.1 overs, losing 4 wickets in the process. Max Wairokpam made 12 runs towards their team victory to the semi final. YUCC bowler N Rahulkumar and N Kenedy took 1 wicket each.
