CDCC Sagolband will face OSCAR Uripok Tourangbam Leikai in the first semi final of the 8th MNCA Plate Tournament 2023-24 to be played on December 1 at Moijing Public Ground, Thoubal at 9.30 am.
The second semi final match between IBSA Yumnam Leikai and PSC Khuyathong will take place at Lairenjam Public Ground, Imphal West on the same day.
In the last league match, KCDO Kongpal beat Sagolband United by 106 runs.
Serving the purpose of academics only, KCDO pulled out their strength to pile up 242 runs for 8 wickets from 35 overs. Azizur scored 69 runs while Lucky made 62 runs for Kongpal team.
Sagolband United bowlers T Herojit, Thoithoiba, Naoton picked up 2 wickets each. In reply, Sagolband United could manage just 136 runs for 10 wickets from 30.2 overs. T Herojit topscored with 46 runs.
KCDO bowlers Devendro took 3 wickets while Lucky, Abdul, Ziaur claimed 2 wickets each. KCDO player Lucky claimed the Man of the Match for his 62 runs and 2 wickets.
