Andhra Pradesh humiliated Manipur by an innings and 246 runs win in the U-25 Men's Col CK Nayadu Trophy 2021-22 (Day-3) played at CAP Ground 3, Puducherry.

Andhra Pradesh batsman replying to Manipur first innings total of 145 runs for 10 wickets from 50.4 overs, put up a massive 604 runs for 8 wickets from 144 overs. Andhra Pradesh batsman SK Rasheed made an unbeaten 223 runs while S Tarun got 124 runs.

Chasing a target of 459 runs, Manipur in their second innings could manage 213 runs for 10 wickets from 62.5 overs with skipper Kishan Singh making 52 runs while Nitesh got 30 runs. Bidash with 28 runs, Guniram with 22 runs, Bikash Singh with 21 runs were the other run contributors.

Andhra Pradesh bowler Tripurana Vijay was the chief wicket taker claiming 7 wickets for 85 runs from 25.5 overs in the second innings. He bagged 3 wickets in the first innings also.  B Varshith Reddy was another Andhra bowler who claimed a total of 4 wickets from the match.new
