Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh felicitated Mixed Martial Arts fighter Satgunhao Kipgen at the Chief Minister's Secretariat in Imphal on Friday.
Satgunhao Kipgen, who hails from Sapormeina Village, Kangpokpi district, Manipur, bagged Gold Medal in AIMMAF National Open MMA Championship held recently in New Delhi.

Biren interacted with Kipgen and his family and motivated him to continue his practice dedicatedly to achieve more success in future.
The chief minister assured to provide all possible support to the MMA fighter to achieve his aim of acquiring training in Thailand and becoming a UFC player.
Satgunhao Kipgen was accompanied by his mother and representatives of Thadou Inpi- general headquarters (Apex Body of Thadou Tribe) during the felicitation programme.
