The All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) has finally come out with the names of 22 players who will represent Manipur in forthcoming National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy 2021(NE Qualifying Round) to be held from November 28 to December 2, 2021.
The North East Qualifying Round of the tournament will be held in Manipur and Meghalaya.
Players in the Manipur squad are AB Waraibou, Md Abujar, A Chingkhei Meitei as Goalkeepers while in the defenders are W Arunkumar Singh, Thangkivet Kipgen, M Clinton Khoman, Th Chingkheinganba, M Deny(U-21), L Chingkheinganba (U-21), A Herojit Singh and N Romen Singh.
In the mid-fielders are Kh Jacky Singh, Kh Prabin Singh(U-21), S Bikash, N Momocha Singh, Th Manichand(U-21), Ng Jenish Singh, Sudhir Loitongbam, Jangminlun Kuki and in the Forward line are S Johnson Singh, NG Bedeenpar Moyon, Somison Shirak(U-21).
The selected players are to report to the team officials at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong on November 12 at 9.30 am for further training session. The team coach mantle is handled by Gift Raikhan while Th Ibotombi Singh is the manager.
