President Droupadi Murmu concludes Sikkim tour

The President was on a whirlwind tour to Northeast India covering three states, Nagaland, Mizoram and Sikkim from  November 2 to 5.

President Droupadi Murmu concluded her Sikkim tour by visiting Char Dham, Namchi, and an exhibition of various locally made products, the Rashtrapati Bhavan said in a tweet.

On the second day of her visit, the President interacted with women entrepreneurs, members of Self Help Groups at Tathagatha Tsal, Ravongla.

On Friday, the President attended the civic reception hosted in her honour by the Sikkim government on her visit to the state and also virtually inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for various projects related to education, health, road infrastructure and tourism at Gangtok on her first day of visit to Sikkim.
