ZUF accords warm welcome to homecoming cadres, extends Christmas greetings

Five of the ZUF cadres returned from NSCN (U) on Monday.

The Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) has accorded a warm welcome to five of its cadres for their heroic homecoming decision to return to the mainstream with arms and ammunitions from NSCN(U) on Monday.

ZUF in a release said that Gahipou Kamei, Dingamlung Kamei, Kensong Pamei, Poulaona Kamei and Dinlianglung Riamei has joined ZUF with arms and ammunition, including AK Launcher, AK Bayonet,M-4, HK-33. A total number of 800 ammunition, 10 each of Lotthode cells and magazine has been carried along by the cadres, it said.

"There are still quite many who are en route to join us. These young spirited cadres who are committed to serving the Zeliangrong community were misled by Raitu Chawang and Sinthuingam Kamson," it stated. 

It further said that most of the right-thinking youth who have their zeal to focus on their mission to work genuinely for the community is now making a heroic step to return to the mainstream with no further delay.

"We warmly welcome every soldier for their upright decision with heartfelt gratitude for their genuine will to work together with a stronger commitment to materialise our true goal," it added. 

The release extended Christmas greetings to all and hoped that the Christmas celebration would bring more love, sharing, and joy. It also wished that the New Year 2021 unfolds for everyone with abundant blessings with success in all endeavours.
