Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president N Loken Singh has questioned the motive of the state BJP government for conducting recruitment of different posts in different departments when the election code of conduct is only a few months away.

The MPCC president questioned the BJP government as to what it had been doing for the past four years that the recruitment had to be conducted when the election is approaching. “The people of Manipur are aware of what the BJP and its coalition partners did in its four-years-and-eight-months governance in the state,” he added.

Loken said the BJP should remember that they should stop telling lies since democracy lies in the hands of the people.
