To commemorate 75 years of India’s Independence, the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry has proposed to take up activities, events and projects.
As a part of celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM), Walkathon and Eat Right Mela is proposed by Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), wherein people from all walks of life would join to celebrate Freedom of Choice of foods to enable all citizens to eat right.
A press communique released by Designated Officer, Food Safety Administration, Imphal West said that in connection with the celebration, Food Safety Administration, Imphal West has been selected to organise Walkathon and Eat Right Mela under AKAM. The programme will be conducted on July 29, 2022 at Medical Directorate, Lamphel to Indian Medical Association (IMA), Manipur State Branch Auditorium, IMA Road, Lamphelpat, Imphal.
