Taragi Cheishu calls for raising single voice

Taragi Cheishu plans to hold a closed-door seminar in a few days.

The Taragi Cheishu on Tuesday called upon the civil society organizations, clubs, women, youth and student organizations to sit together, discuss and take consensus decisions on issues concerning the Meeteis in Manipur and to enable the Meeteis in raising a single voice and work cohesively with more understanding.

Taragi Cheishu will organise a closed-door seminar in a few days and the same will be notified in advance,  a release stated.

The Closed-Door Seminar will be held with two representatives from every organization and will be facilitated by Taragi Cheishu, it stated.

The ultimate solutions will be discussed and arrived at a consensus in the Closed-Door Meeting, it said, adding that the policy paper will be submitted to the state government and the central government.

It mentioned that a set of questions has been sent to all organizations to study beforehand and give answers in three days’ time by WhatsApp to Taragi Cheishu’s number- 7005800396 or send a hard copy to its Office.

Any organization, that has not received the appeal letter can obtain it by asking the organisation, it added.
