Lohrii in a statement had declared that he will withdraw from contesting the assembly election for the larger interest of Mao community Tadubi, before the general public of Tadubi constituency on March 2.

However, on March 3, Lohrii retract the statement, saying that the previous statement was done under pressure and without proper consent by some few Mao community leaders.

Lohrii apologised to the BJP Tadubi workers and supporters for not consulting and taking their consents for the act.

While retracting his previous declaration, Lohrii stated that he will contest the election and firmly stand by BJP principles and ideology and should remain loyal to the party, its workers, supporters and the general public.

He stated that he will adhere to the party directive and should always remain loyal and trustworthy.
