In another reshuffling of police officers' postings in Manipur, the state government on Wednesday ordered the transfer and postings of 12 police inspectors.
An order issued by DGP P Doungel stated that the transfer order is issued after getting approval from the ECI in public interests.
As per the order, CAR, Imphal East Th Ibotombi Singh has been transferred to CID (security); CAR, Imphal East M Binod Kumar Singh to CID (security); CPCR Oinam Premananda Singh to CID (CB); CPCR Longjam Manik Singh to CID (CB); CPCR Laishram Chaoba Singh to CID (CB); CAR, Imphal East Robert Nameirakpam to CAR, Senapati; CAR, Imphal East Umar Alam to CAR, Tamenglong; CAR, Imphal East Lairikyengbam Bikram Singh to CAR, Tamenglong; CAR, Imphal West Sharubam Joykumar Singh to CAR, Thoubal; OC, Behiang PS T Liankhangsang to CAR, Bishnupur; CAR, Churachandpur P Veven Gangte to CAR, Bishnupur; and CID (Tech) Ningthoujam Hemba Singh to 8th IRB.
The superintendents of police and commandant concerned should relieve them immediately and report compliance, the order mentioned.
