On Thursday, a remote-controlled Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was found on the roadside of Imphal-Moreh highway near the entrance to International School of Resources (ISOR), Canchipur under Singjamei Police Station at around 12.45 pm.

The IED, which was found on the foot of a Telephone post, was defused by a team of Bomb Disposal Squad, Manipur Police at 1.40 pm.
