Security forces reaches out to Makhan youth with IT equipment

AR personnel expressed solidarity to the defence forces and paid tributes to the fallen heroes and veterans on the occasion of Armed Forces Day.

The Jwalamukhi Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) commemorated the Armed Forces Day. The AR personnel paid homage to the fallen heroes and veterans on the occasion.

Several veterans along with the youth of respective areas together sang the National Anthem while paying tributes to the fallen heroes on the occasion.

As a part of the celebration, the Jwalamukhi Battalion also presented IT equipment, including computers and printers, to the youth of Makhan village to help harness computer skills and achieve self-reliance.
