The proscribed Revolutionary People’s Front (RPF) on Sunday clarified that the arrest of four persons, including one Rakibul Nessa, and seizing of an IED from their possession by Cachar district police at Jujam near Lakhimpur under Cachar district, Assam on November 23 has nothing to do with RPF and its military wing PLA, in any manner or form.
RPF stated in a release that since PLA is on the lips of India these days, superintendent of police, Cachar district Ramandeep Kaur is eager to call those arrested as PLA though they do not have any association to the organisation at all.
