Refrain from bribing officials for releasing files: CM Biren to work contractors in Manipur

If there is any delay in the releasing of the files, the contractors concerned may apprise the office of the Public Grievance Redressal and Anti-Corruption Cell, the chief minister of Manipur said.

Manipur Chief Minister on Monday assured that there will be no lapse in releasing the files of contract works before the ending of the financial year 2021-22.

The chief minister appealed to all contractors in a video release to give up the old trends and refrain from bribing officials in any form for releasing the files.

As most of the documents works of the contract works are done on e-filing, all the files will be released timely, Biren said, adding that there is no need for rush in secretariat by the contractors.

The chief minister said that in order to make sure that there is no overdraft, the government may delay the releasing of the files by just one or two days.

If there is any delay in the releasing of the files, the contractors concerned may apprise the office of the Public Grievance Redressal and Anti-Corruption Cell opened at the chief minister's secretariat.
