Raj Medicity senior consultants donate to aid free treatment

In a remarkable act of compassion, three senior consultant doctors from Raj Medicity on Monday donated a significant sum of money to support the provision of free treatment to victims affected by the ongoing violence in Manipur.

Dr Kh Kala Singh (CTVS) donated Rs 10,000; Dr Th Joy (general medicine) donated Rs 20,000 and Dr O Ibochou (Anaesthesiology) donated Rs 37,500 to the management of the hospital, said Raj Medicity in a release.

The inspiration behind this noble act is the unwavering commitment of Raj Medicity to providing free treatment to those affected by the violence, the release said, adding without hesitation that these senior consultants recognised the dire circumstances that the victims are facing and decided to lend their support to the cause.

Stating that Haobijam Rajen, chairman of Raj Medicity expressed his gratitude to the generous donors for their selfless contributions, the release said he acknowledged the efforts made by Dr Kh Kala Singh, Dr Th Joy and Dr O Ibochou Singh, commending them for their kindness and dedication to helping those in need.

It stated that the donation program took place at the cabinet hall of Raj Medicity, where the chairman, along with the top management of the hospital, chaired the event.
