Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL) on Friday notified all the consumers of Western-1 and JNV feeders from Yurembam substation that there will be a planned shutdown on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm.

In a release, MSPDCL stated that the consumers supplied by Western-1 and JNV feeders from Yurembam substation will not get power supply on May 28 and May 29 from 10 am till 4 pm for utility shifting regarding ongoing road expansion at Sagoltongba Mamang.

The power shutdown areas include Yurembam, Awangkhunou, Konthoujam, Sagoltongba, Khumbong, Kamong, Awang Jiri, Kheithelmanbi, Kheithelmanbi Assam Rifles, it mentioned. Inconvenience caused is deeply regretted, it added.
