The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Chandel on Thursday organised a poster campaign and outreach programme on Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) with special emphasis on Lok Adalat ‘Encouraging settlement through People’s Court (Lok Adalat)’.

It was organised under the aegis of Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MASLSA). During the campaign, teams composed of panel advocates and para legal volunteers of DLSA, Chandel posted posters on ADR.

Lok Adalats were put up at various strategic areas of Chandel and Tengnoupal districts whereas the local populace of the area were sensitised on Lok Adalat and its benefits by the panel advocates.

During the programme, the organiser made efforts to encourage the people to settle cases through Lok Adalat (People’s Court).
