The Women Development Society, Mahabali Mamang, Palace Compound, Imphal on Sunday visited one ailing Hijam Shanker of Kongpal, who sustained injuries while on guard duty at the Khamenlok incident.

The Society extended monetary assistance to Shanker for his treatment and appealed to the government and public for their support in his treatment, a release stated.
