MLA LM Khaute of 58 Churachandpur AC on Friday visited the ongoing integrated water supply schemes work for Churachandpur HQ project (under water supply project for Manipur State) that was funded by New Developments Bank (NDB).
He was accompanied by EE of PHED Churachandpur John Thanglianmang Singson and others.
It may be mentioned that Churachandpur District was allotted Rs 177.40 crore (Rs 154.00 crore for town) out of the Rs 3054.58 crore total sanction for the state of Manipur which should be completed within 3 years starting 15 October 2021 and ending in 2014
The MLA said that he was on a whirlwind tour to four sites today to see the progress and quality of the work which he said will be one of his priorities. He also expressed his satisfaction over the work being done.
The four sites the MLA visited included the ongoing construction of 2ML capacity Ground Level Service Reservoir at PHED office premises, ongoing work at of GLSR and overhead tank of 1 ML in the town , 2ML capacity master Reservoir at Sielbuhjang and Ground sump and intake point at Khuga dam ( zone III treatment plant).
