Miscreants set car on fire in Imphal East

Miscreants, suspected to be members of ‘JAC against the brutal killing of Loushambam Rabichandra’, torched a four-wheeler.

A four wheeler (Alto- MN05A-5660) was torched at Nongpok Sanjenbam under Lamlai Police Station, Imphal East by miscreants suspected to be members of ‘JAC against the brutal killing of Loushambam Rabichandra’ at around 11 am on Thursday.

The car is reportedly owned by one Longjam Jackson alias Sanjit, 28, of Wabagai Mayai Leikai. He ran a farm with L Rabichandra who died after being assaulted by miscreants at Happy Land. Rabichandra died on Tuesday at RIMS.

In connection with the death, L Jackson was arrested by the Lamlai Police Station and remanded in custody. The body of Rabichandra is kept at JNIMS mortuary.
