Sporadic incidents of violence continued to take place in the state despite efforts and attempts to resolve the ongoing crisis.

Unknown miscreants set ablaze a car in Imphal West district on Monday, sources said, adding it reportedly occurred near the Education (S) Office under the jurisdiction of Lamphel Police Station around 5 pm.
The miscreants set ablaze a DatsunGo car, which reportedly arrived from Langol side. The registration number of the vehicle could not be figured out as the vehicle was severely damaged.

Meanwhile, the driver of the car, identified as a Muslim, is currently under investigation at Lamphel Police Station, police said.
