As many as 10 goods trucks, including three oil tankers, were allegedly attacked by unknown miscreants along the NH-37 (Imphal-Jiribam) national highway, near New Keithelmanbi, on Sunday, sources said.

The sources said that of the 10 trucks, seven were transporting essential commodities, especially grocery items, and three were transporting petroleum products. The unknown miscreants attacked the trucks with huge stones and slingshots. Some of the glass panes of the trucks were damaged, but no casualties were reported during the incident.
