Director of Manipur Science and Technology Council (MASTEC) L Minaketan Singh on Thursday stressed that mathematics students should focus more on self-study and break the trend of completely relying on private tuitions.

He was speaking as the president at the observance of National Mathematics Day 2022 which was organised by Manipur Science and Technology Council (MASTEC) at its campus in Imphal West.
He said that self-study and constant practice is the key to success.

He stated that the trend of taking private tuitions has left the students with no time for self-practice. It is highly important for mathematics students to come out from the trend of relying on private tuitions so that they can master mathematics.
