Maniwood Club, Manipur on Friday felicitated its president Th Arunkumar, on winning the MLA seat of Wangkhei Assembly constituency in the 2022 Assembly election of Manipur.
A football exhibition match between the Maniwood Club and Nongmeibung Veteran Team along with a musical concert was also held as a part of the programme at the Eastern Student Club (ESC) Ground in Imphal East.
Arunkumar expressed his gratitude to the team of Maniwood Club for choosing him as their president though he is not related with the film industries.
He further appreciated the team of the club for serving the society in various aspects such as saving the environment, conduction of health camps, philanthropy service at the time of pandemic, encouraging games and sports apart from entertainment services.
The function was also attended by advisor of ESC, RK Lalit Singh, as chief guest; president of ESC, N Indrajit, as president; Manipur film actors RK Somorendro, Gokul Athokpam, Bonny Gurumayum, Loya Khoirom among others.
