The protest condemned the alleged attempt to destroy educational institutions by burning down three high schools in the town and the alleged delay tactics of removal of Manipur police commandos from Tengnoupal district.

The sit-in-Protest was held at Moreh bazar from 9 am in the morning.

Anthony Tongmang Mate, secretary, Moreh Private Schools Association (MOPSA), said they are in deep pain to see how children and students are deprived of education in Moreh highlighting that hardly only five months of schooling were enjoyed last year by the students.
