The injured person is Takhellambam Lokhon, 39, son of (L) T Manglemjao of Chanam Sandrok Maning Leikai.

As per police sources, T Lokhon was kidnapped by four miscreants who came on a Grey colour bolero near Waithou Bazar. The miscreants had one muffler each and Lokhon was blindfolded inside the bolero. They fled at Irong side after they shot Lokhon on his left leg, as per police.

Mayang Imphal Police Station registered a case on the incident. The injured person has been taken to Imphal for further treatment by his family members after he received first aid at PHC Mayang Imphal.
