Unknown miscreants hurled a hand grenade in the courtyard of one MD Jakir, 45, son of late MD Nasiruddin of Sangaiyumpham part (i) Mairenkhul under the jurisdiction of Thoubal PS, Thoubal district.

Family members found the hand grenade in their courtyard on Sunday morning and reported it to the police who safely removed it at around 8.30 am.

Details of the incident remained unknown and police have registered a case.
