"The Father of the Nation, Mahatmaji, had envisaged Swachh Chitra (cleanliness) and so did our prime minister, which needs to be our focus to have a healthy life and healthy society," he said.

The Governor also spoke about drug abuse and poppy cultivation, calling on the people to not leave the matter to the government alone.

The Governor also talked about the danger of illegal migration stating that border towns/villages like Behiang on India-Myanmar border have to be in constant guard as soldiers and help the government forces because if influx keeps on continuing, illegal migrants will eventually take the share of the real citizens.

During the interaction, different DLOs presented the achievements of their respective departments and appealed to the Governor to address the shortage of staff in 13 health centres and absence of doctors at PHC Singzawl.
