With the aim to pray for peace in Manipur, a gospel healing crusade is being organised by Town Churches Union (TCU) in Tamenglong district and will continue till Thursday.
A special prayer for individuals who are sick and unwell is being offered every day during the programme which began on April 1. However, following heavy rain every day, the organising committee has shifted the venue from Mini Stadium Tamenglong to Emmanuel Baptist Church, which is the biggest church in Tamenglong.
Speaking to the Imphal Free Press, Emmanuel Baptist Church pastor Reverend Guingopou Gonmei said that the gospel healing crusade is for everyone in the town. Everyone saw hundreds of people experiencing miracle healing and testimony in the crusade, he mentioned.
He informed that evangelist Ravi Abraham gave a powerful sermon.He appealed to everyone in the town to come and participate in the programme and also witness the power of Jesus. He said many experience miracle healing everyday.
He further said that a seminar on the mission is being held in the afternoon every day at Emmanuel Baptist Church Tamenglong. He also fervently appealed to all Christian leaders to join the seminar. After the seminar, a special prayer meet is conducted and many people are coming for healing, he added.
Meanwhile, Town churches union president informed that due to unpredictable and unconducive weather conditions and many inconveniences, the Peace Prayer Meeting Gospel Healing Crusade will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church from Wednesday evening from 5:30 pm onwards.
