The BJP Manipur is anticipating a turnout of at least 50,000 supporters at the rally, said Minister L Susindro, who was inspecting the rally site.

There is also speculation that the Union Home Minister may announce assurances regarding the protection of the indigenous people of Manipur during his visit, he said.

Stating that Shah’s visit presents a significant opportunity to voice the demands of the people of Manipur, he mentioned that some civil bodies have requested permission to submit a memorandum to the Home Minister during his visit.
