Sky Hospital and Research Centre Private Limited conducted the first-ever multi-vessel coronary stenting procedure on a 64-year-old patient in the state on June 16.
The procedure took four hours and the patient who underwent the procedure is stable and has been discharged from the hospital, stated a release.
Chief Cardiologist of SKY Hospital, Dr Shyamkishore Singh has also expressed satisfaction over the successful conduct of the challenging treatment, it stated.
He also appealed to report to the hospital if anyone starts showing symptoms of heart attack, adding that every second is of infinite value to help save a life, it added.
