Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Wednesday extended greetings to all on Republic Day 2022 celebration. In a series of tweets, Biren called upon all to reaffirm commitment to strengthen the nation and to advocate unity in diversity.
“Greetings to everyone on this 73rd #RepublicDay. As we celebrate this occasion, let us reaffirm our commitment to uphold the ideals our constitution and strengthen this great Nation. Jai Hind!” the chief minister tweeted along with a post expressing his heartfelt wishes to the people of the state.
“I extend my heartfelt greetings and warm wishes to the people of Manipur on the joyous occasion of the 73rd Republic Day. Let us reaffirm our unwavering commitment to uphold the ideals of our Constitution, advocate unity in diversity, fraternity and equality among all our citizens and strengthen our republic,” the Twitter post read.
The chief minister also shared photos of him unfurling the national flag at his official residence in Imphal.
“Unfurled the National Flag at my official residence on the occasion of 73rd #RepublicDay. Let us pledge to uphold the ideals of our constitution, advocate unity in diversity and ensure fraternity & equality among all our citizens,” he captioned the photos.
