In yet another shooting incident, a 40-year-old man was allegedly shot at by unidentified miscreants at Thoubal Khekman on Sunday, sources said on Monday.

The sources said that the injured person has been identified as one Md Hesamuddin, 40 years, son of late Md Ajijur Rehman from Kwakta Maning Leikai.
According to the sources, the incident occurred around 9:40 pm. Upon hearing the information, police arrived and rushed the injured person to a hospital for further treatment.

Meanwhile, Lilong Police team inspected the crime scene and conducted cordon and search operations around the area, the sources added.
