The Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MASLSA), in collaboration with District Legal Services Authority Churachandpur (DLSA), organised a Free Legal Aid cum Interactive programme with the Myanmar nationals currently housed in Temporary Prison at Detention Centre, Sadbhavna Mandap, New Lamka Churachandpur on Monday. 

The team from MASLSA was led by Sanananda, DLSA Churachandpur secretary, DLSA Imphal East secretary, SDO Churachandpur, I/c Jail SP, and panel lawyers, among others.

The programme commenced with a welcome speech by the MASLSA member secretary, .

In the said programme, an interaction session was held with 44 Myanmar prisoners where free legal aid services were provided to them. The programme successfully concluded with a vote of thanks by Lianzalal, General Secretary, Zomi Youth Association, General Headquarter.
