A release signed by president Kuki Students Organisation, Tengnoupal District Thangboi Lhungdim on Monday alleged that the threat was made by one “Manipur state force of SSP rank Nector.”

Such activity is appalling and dangerous to the peace and safety of our innocent civilians, it stated.

It stated that the victim filed a complaint at the concerned Police station on February 15 but no legal process or step has been taken up by the concerned authority till date.

It appealed that such officers must be removed from the district for the safety of the public and innocent Indian citizens and to maintain peace in the district.

“The student community of Tengnoupal District will not remain a silent spectator and will be forced to take all democratic forms of protest if our appeal is not heard,” it mentioned.
