KCP releases ‘Lanthengminnasi Eikhoi’

The proscribed Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) announced that it has released its biannual publication ‘Lanthengminnasi Ekhoi’ (Ningtham Chefong) on Friday.

The winter issue, Vol XIV, Issue No 02, October-2021 consist of 13 chapters which includes the message of KCP’s Military Affairs Committee to the general public on its 17th Foundation Day, stated a release issued by secretary-in-charge, information and publicity S Mangal.  

An editorial on ‘non-materialistic concept of history and the fate of liberation movement’ in both English and Manipuri language has been included, it stated.  A study on Frantz Fanon’s ‘The Wretched of the Earth’ is a part of the issue.  The publication also includes a chapter on Marxism in which the early years of Lenin are revisited, it stated. The first part of Karl Marx’s ‘Das Capital’ with focus on the ‘Use-Value’ and ‘Exchange Value’ of a commodity, is included in the issue, it mentioned.

It stated that an article on the armed communist revolution of Irabot and the continuing legacy is also included as a republication. An analysis on Hijam Irabot’s poetry ‘Makhoisini’ is a part of the issue.  The publication further includes a study on Michael Moore’s documentary film ‘Sicko’ which exposes the dark side of America’s private health sector. A review of George Orwell’s novel, the ‘Animal Farm’ is a part of the issue, it mentioned.     

It stated that an article on the Koubru issue analyses how the matter is conspired by the Ethnic Elites. An article on ‘Towards democratic way of resolving conflict’ is also a part of the issue.  Another feature accuses hospitals as looting sites for people while another article discusses ‘The Invisible Dynamics of Koubru Imbroglio, it added.
