As a part of the statewide celebration, Jiribam District Police celebrated its 129th Manipur Police Raising Day on Monday.

While extending his greetings to the public during the occasion, SP of Jiribam district, Moirangthem Mubi Singh said that the Jan Andolan campaign on COVID-19 launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been effectively going on in the state to give awareness on the pandemic.

Every person should strictly follow the SOPs by wearing face masks, maintaining at least six feet distance, washing hands and sanitizing regularly, he added. If any individual fails to comply with the rules, action will be taken up with appropriate fine as per law, said the SP.
