Inriangluang village of Tamenglong on Monday held a special prayer blessing and declaration to extend full support to the BJP intending candidate and former MLA Janghemlung Panmei in the forthcoming state general assembly election.
The declaration was made during the blessing programme held at Chunchamjaeng ward No 10. A cultural event was organised by the Inriangluang village Authority.
Traditional welcome dance was performed by Phunguang Youth Club. Tamenglong Baptist Church Pastor Rev Liangcham led the special blessing.

Tamenglong Village Authority chairman Ningthan Pamei said that the village authority during the general body meeting on February 8, 2021 resolved to extend support with one voice to the local candidate.
In the declaration he said, "We the citizens of Tamenglong village solemnly declare our unconditional support for Janghemlung Panmei with one accord. We wish him good luck and success".
The declaration note was signed by the Tamenglong Village Authority chairman and his secretary R Akinna and handed over to candidate Janghemlung Panmei.
Speaking on the occasion, BJP intending candidate Janghemlung Panmei urged all the citizens of Tamenglong to help him achieve success in the forthcoming state general assembly election.
"The BJP government under the leadership of Prime Minister Modiji and Chief Minister N Biren Singh has introduced many development schemes, Now we need good leadership to develop our economy, let us all work together and bring changes,"
